Some months ago when I was visiting your place, I noticed some Break-Free products, most notably Powder Blast gun cleaner and CLP lubricant and you gave me containers of each. Last weekend was the first chance I have had to actually use the cleaner and I couldn't believe how superior it was compared to others on the market.

I checked my inventory of other cleaners and I found 3 other brands. I tried all three of the other brands, plus the Break-Free. The Break-Free took off caked-on, black crud that the other cleaners just wetted. Really amazing stuff! In addition to being the best, it also has the best smell of any of the cleaners out there.

The truth about the CLP lubricant: I have used this CLP lubricant for quite a few things, including car door hinges. I have used this for my guns, but I have kind of reserved it for another purpose. I use a special crimp press for my .45 auto reloads and the arm is adjustable for pressures of up to 148 lbs. on the taper crimp. To insure the force is equally distributed on just the case lip, the entire force is transmitted through a "floating" 0.5" diameter ball bearing. The guy who invented it strongly recommends that you use a "very good quality non-lithium grease or oil," since an inferior lubricant would easily fail in this application and destroy the press. I can say, without hesitation, that I have used the CLP lubricant exclusively on this press for reloading over 5,000 rounds and the wear on the parts, including the arm that rests on the ball bearing, was negligible.

Please...know that, like all the other Break Free products, (your) cleaner is tops. Thanks for the cans—I feel bad that it took me so long to try the cleaner.
